Our lives can be a series of ups and downs, and if we are not careful we can sometimes trade in our faith for a bucket of doubt. Every situation that arises in our lives is not necessarily initiated by the devil. A few of the trials we encounter are actually self created. There are times when we allow people and things to occupy the space and time that was designated specifically for God. When we lose our connection with God we panic when we do hear His reply in response to our restlessness. We feel He has abandoned us, and left us to weather the storm on our own. The truth of the matter is God is still there and He is still speaking. We have lost the ability to hear His voice, because the other outside influences have drowned him out. According to
Matthew 6:34 ~ Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
We worry to the point of becoming frantic, because we can not visually see a resolution to the issue at hand. Our paranoia overrides our ability to think logically, and we become impatient. Without knowing it we have set ourselves up for the big let down, which again is due to our own volition.
Romans 1:28 ~ And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done
So make no mistake when we do not have faith in God's ability to bring us out of our situations, He will sometimes place us in a posture of total submission. It is then that we realize the only answer to our dilemma is to wait for God's instruction.
Be Blessed,
